Services
Geza Emfuleni offers cleansing in waters that flow and churn, rather than stagnant baptismal pools. Doing so brings in the energy of activation, ancestral memory, and swift work. Benefits include spiritual cleansing, protection, and emotional release. Herbs and other spiritual remedies may also be applied during this time. This service is most often done after ukuphalaza and before ukufutha, but can be done alone.
Ukuphalaza is a traditional African practice that involves drinking an herbal blend to induce vomiting. It's used to cleanse and protect energy, and has physical, emotional, and spiritual benefits, such as getting rid of evil spirits, ensuring material success and helping to reduce inflammation Ukuphalaza is performed early in the morning on an empty stomach and is usually followed by geza emfuleni and ukufutha.
Ukufutha is a traditional full body cleanse that uses herbal steam to infuse the body with healing medicine while also serving as a detoxification ritual. Ukufutha heightens spiritual awareness and removes isichitho (spiritual illness). It also provides mental clarity, emotional release and self-care. It is part of a system of cleansing rituals, which also include ukugeza emfuleni (spiritual bath) and ukuphalaza (purging).

Evala Isilonda is a solemn ritual which acknowledges the spirit of children lost due to abortion and miscarriage, stillbirth, and other circumstances. In this ceremony, we cleanse the mother, beseech her ancestors to comfort her through her grief and ask them to guide the soul of the child back through the ancestral portal into the celestial plane.
